Ok, that might sound like a cheap ploy but I love this magic rose thing and want people to be able to make their own. Simply because it's a great present to give away. It's fun to make, is beautiful and it's fascinating.

Now, my accent is pretty heavy, I'm Swedish... But you should be able to understand me.

i just finished it - REALLY awesome! the first time I did all the red pieces inverted so the points were on the wrong corners (you have to turn the paper so the first half folds run vertical to you, THEN fold down the upper right corner and the bottom left corner up...) but i got it all eventually! Thanks so much!

oh yeah, I was worried that people might miss that. :S luckily the modules are so quick to make you can just make another one if you make a mistake, huh? :)

I hope it looks good and everything. :P just dont leave it in the sun. (or try to water it)

thanks so much =) I'm actually having a hard time with folding the petals.. and I was wondering if the paper isn't folded tightly enough and put in evenly all fitted, then would that part become hard to do?

the petals are actually pretty low-tech. as long as you fold the three red pieces to look like squares with wings then you should be able to open the rose just fine. it's hard to explain how to do it though, I recommend trying to pause the video and doing it slow and methodical. :)

looking at your gallery, it seems to me you're good with your hands so this should be a piece of cake for you. :P
